Marseille Sporting Events

The beaches often play host to beach volleyball tournaments (it is a sport, honest…), and Marseille is a regular stop on the annual Tour De France cycle race. Each November, the International Marseille Triathlon provides the ultimate physical challenge for the super fit, with a 5km swim followed by a 112km cycle race before a marathon.
