Qatar Airways are launching new flights to Guangzhou

Qatar Airways are making plans to fill the gap in the market for flights from the southern Chinese industrial port city of Guangzhou.

Guangzhou has one of the fastest growing economies so Qatar will start their flights in the summer season of this year. Doha-based Qatar Airways will become the first airline from the Gulf to serve Guangzhou. It will operate four flights-a-week non-stop using an Airbus A330 aircraft in a two-class configuration of up to 24 seats in Business Class and a maximum 248 in Economy.

Qatar Airways launch daily Berlin flight.

Qatar Airways plans to increase its four weekly flights to Berlin to a daily route by merging the flight with the Doha and Berlin flight. This will allow Qatar Airways to increase their flight service to Berlin in Germany to a daily flight. This daily flight route will become available from the 1st February 2008.
