Gulf Air receive new funding
Gulf Air, the airline who operate flights to Muscat, and the Labour fund of Bahrain have signed an agreement to train 200 Bahrainis for jobs in Gulf Air’s worldwide call centre. The agreement was signed on Monday by Labour Fund acting chief executive Abdulellah Ebrahim Al Qassimi and Gulf Air acting president and chief executive Bjšrn NŠf in front of a number of senior Gulf Air and Labour officials to witness it.

Gulf Air appoint Vice President
Gulf Air who operate flights to Cairo, Istanbul and Khartoum has announced on Thursday that they will be appointing a new Vice President Technical in the form of Jassim Al-Marzooqi. Jassim Al-Marzooqi worked for Gulf Air 13 years ago between 1986 and 1994 he has now been brought back from Air Arabia.

Gulf Air to consider an early lease of 787’s
Gulf Air, the Bahrain based airline have placed an order for 16 new Boeing 787s which they are due to take delivery of in 2016.They are now planning on bringing the delivery forward and arranging leases to introduce the new Boeing 787 earlier. These will fly on Gulf Airs main routes in the Middle East including flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
