Virgin Atlantic launches non-stop flight service from London Heathrow to Mauritius

Virgin Atlantic is proud to announce that they are launching their first flight service that flies from London Heathrow to Mauritius without a stop-off.
The new flights to Mauritius of which the first is scheduled for landing at 1050 on the morning of 29th October 2007 will be on the Airbus A340-300. This Virgin Atlantic aircraft has 240 seats. With 34 seats in upper class, 35 seats in premium economy and 171 seats in economy.
The new flight service will arrive in Mauritius after a long 11hours, 55mins to celebrations of the traditional water salute from the airport fire brigade and a greeting from the local Creole band as passengers and Virgin Atlantic crew disembark the aircraft.
This new service from Virgin Atlantic is to run twice every week from Heathrow.The Airbus will be leaving the UK every Friday and Sunday and every Saturday and Monday from Mauritius back to the UK.
