United Airlines start flying to London from US Hub Airports.

As from 29 March 2008, United Airlines will begin to operate flights to London Heathrow from their Hubs in the USA. This will increase the service already supplied by the airline and provide cutomers an opportunity to fly return from Seattle and Dallas in business class.
This will inevitably increase traffic for the already busiest airport in Europe for business travellers. The changes which are the most significant for decades and will provide United Airlines a cutting edge as the agreement will make them more competitive. The "Open Skies" agreement will reduce the high prices business travellers already pay for transatlantic routes to London.
The Chairman for the for the Radnor-based Business Travel Coalition, which represents corporate travel managers on both sides of the Atlantic added that prices will almost certainly fall and services will definately improve.
