Singapore airlines have taken a delivery of their second Airbus A380 after their first airbus which was delivered last year. The new Airbus A380 will be delivered at the end of February this year.
Singapore airlines will launch the new Airbus on all Singapore flights to London Heathrow route in the hope to move it eventually onto the Hong Kong route.
The initial A380 Aircraft that was delivered to Singapore Airlines was involved in a minor accident when the aircraft broke loose from a towing truck whilst being pushed across the tarmac and came to rest over a grassed area of the airport. The 446 passengers who were on the Singapore to Changi-Sydney route disembarked immediately and nobody was injured. The aircraft flew later the same day after all the aircrafts tyres were replaced.
