KLM Royal Dutch Airlines reinstated their flights to Muscat service yesterday after a five year stop. KLM Royal Dutch Airlines said the flight to Muscat have been started again due to Oman’s rapid economic strides and tourism boom.
The flight will start its schedule with five flights every week to the Omani capital on an Airbus A330-200 aircraft which will carry 30 business class seats and 221 economy seats.
The five flights are scheduled to fly from Amsterdam on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday mornings, and will fly to Muscat via Kuwait. The return flights will leave the following morning from when the departing flight arrives in Muscat.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines had suspended these flights after the market had taken a serious drop in 2002 after the September 2001 terror attacks.
