Emirates entering Western Australia

Emirates is certainly doing its best when it comes to putting itself out there with its potential customers and sees the extension of its current deal as part of its ongoing marketing mix. The Airline which provides flights to Melbourne and Perth is said keen to be involved with many sporting teams/events as they feel that sport has similar values as the company’s working ethos – namely honour, glory and sportsmanship. Emirates Airlines are especially happy with the deal as it allows them to reach out to customers in areas where they wouldn’t normally have any exposure.
The rugby team are of course as this extension to the year 2010 will allow them to strengthen their squad and the club in general. The ‘RugbyWA’ chairman is apparently more than the pleased with the extension as he sees the airline, not just as another company but as world leading brand and organisation.
The deal which started in 2005, is part of an ongoing marketing drive for Emirates airlines into Australia where they also sponsor the cricket, horse racing and football.
