British Airways urges BAA to stop holding back on Heathrow

At hearings which were held this week between British Airways, Civil Aviation Authority and BAA, British Airways urged the CAA to stop BAA delaying further improvements at London Heathrow International Airport.

British Airways asking the CAA to urge BAA to follow through with the improvements at London Heathrow airport to improve the customer service in areas such as the central security area, security control posts and transfer search areas.

Unfortunately for British Airways, BAA want to delay these recommendations to improve customer service in order to put an action plan in place that will measure the systems and find alternate ways to fund the improvements.

British Airways keeps pointing out that to improve their targets at heathrow airport, then the airport needs to be improved to stop delays at security control. Flights to Las Vegas today were held up because there were delays at security points, this means not only are passengers late but catering and even the cabin crew and pilots are held up.
