British Airways to unveil its new airport terminal

British Airways has built a brand new terminal at Londons Heathrow International airport which will be terminal 5.  The new building has been designed to be light and modern, it has been built over 5 floors giving a view of Windsor castle.

The new terminal has cost British Airways GBP4.3 billion and it took seven years to build but the huge terminal holds 112 shops and restaurants and a huge first class lounge which includes a cinema.

The company that operate all British airports, BAA have built the new terminal at London Heathrow airport in a bid to improve the world’s busiest international airport, which is predicted to become even busier for flights to Londonfor the 2012 London Olympics. The terminal will only serve British Airways customers and will open on 27th March 2008.
