BMI flight additions

Published: 24/05/08

BMI have made the announcement in Las Vegas today that they will be increasing their flight service at the McCarran international airport, but it is not much for Las Vegas citizens to get excited about because this flight increase will not provide any time-saving advantages.

British Midlands, who are now re-branded as just lower case BMI, have acquired the airline British Mediterranean Airways, who will provide the extra flights to Las Vegas.

The extra flights will give BMI new routes to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; Aleppo, Syria; Almaty, Kazakhstan; Amman, Jordan; Ankara, Turkey; Baku, Azerbaijan; Beirut, Lebanon; Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan; Cairo; Dakar, Senegal; Damascus, Syria; Yekaterinburg, Russia; Freetown, Sierra Leone; Khartoum, Sudan; Tbilisi, Georgia; Tehran, Iran; and Yerevan, Armenia.

All these new routes are great news for people who are fans of BMI, which has now been named the second-busiest air carrier in the world.
