The Association of European Airlines creates a consumer report for every quarter of each year.
The findings for the third quarter of 2007 found that all of BMIs long haul flights departed as planned whether it was from the UK or to the UK. Please note the figure relates to flights which have flown and not been cancelled, the figure also doesn’t include delays. Despite this BMI rated very well for punctuality for their long haul flights, with only 20 percent of their long haul flights being delayed.
First place in the Association of European Airlines consumer report was also shared by Lufthansa airlines and Icelandair airlines, these two airlines had also got through the third quarter of the year without cancelling any flights.
