Offset fuel prices by cutting airline costs

Published: 20/06/08

The ever growing fuel costs for airlines have forced them to slow their growing rates to cut costs to cover the fuel prices.  This slow down in Airlines growth could hurt the air travel economy.
Some airline executives are involved in talks for having to merge airlines to help cope with the increasing fuel costs, but the executives were keen not to name any airlines that are planning on a merger.

Executives also said Airlines were not waiting around for mergers to happen and were drawing up business plans already to try and deal with the ever increasing fuel prices.
United airlines have said they have no more plans to expand in the competitive US market but concentrating on expanding flights to the rest of the world.
