New Lufthansa to Angola Service

Lufthansa are said to be starting a new weekly flight service to Angola starting from next year. Lufthansa will be starting their weekly flight to Angola from 2008 and TAAG Angolan airlines will be starting their new flights to Munich at the same time.
TAAG Angolan Airlines are currently blacklisted from flying to any country in the European Union due to safety reasons so they actual date for these new flight services between Angola and Germany has not yet been stated.
During talks on the new flight service, Germany’s Economy and Technology Minister Michael Glos commended the Angolan authorities for stabilising the economy after the 27 year civil war which was ended in 2002.
During the talk Michael Glos pencilled a deal with Luanda where Germany will loan Angola 1.1 million euros to develop technology and transport.
