Iberia adding flights between Spain and Calgary

Spain’s national airline, Iberia airlines has announced a new flight service between Spain and Calgary, Canada. Calgarians will soon be able to fly direct from Calgary to sunny Spain.
The Mayor of Calgary and officials of Calgary International airport will be waiting to greet the first Spanish flagship carrier, Iberia flight when it arrives.
Iberia is the most successful airline in Europe boasting of a net profit of $84 million in 2006 and carried almost 28 million passengers also in 2006.
Iberia is based in Madrid and flies to 102 destinations in 39 countries with a fleet of mainly Airbuses. The branch out to new destinations comes after Lufthansa announced new daily flights to Frankfurt, Germany.
