London Heathrow airport could be given the go ahead to charge airlines that use the airport an increase of 15.6 percent more next year. The British aviation have said in return for the extra charges they want to see what they airlines are paying extra for, which means offering better services at Heathrow airport and shorter queues at the security desks.
Understandably, airlines that facilitate flights to London Heathrow airport are furious at the increase, but the
CAAs (Civil Aviation Authority) director said that both Heathrow and Gatwick airports both deserve better and to make improvements, this is going to cost money.
The CAA also said that it was going to impose penalties on BAA who are the operator of Heathrow, for their poor service at the airport.
