Gulf Air is teaming up with Saudi Arabian Airlines in a code-sharing agreement with the idea of increasing flights to Kathmandu / Damman route. This increase has come about due to massive demand and a need to provide enhanced customer services.
For the first time the extra flight route will provide a non stop service between King Fahd International airport in Dammam to the capital of Nepal, served by the Airbus A340-300.
This new flight service will be added to the existing successful code-sharing schedule of Gulf Air and Saudi Arabian Airlines in winter 2007/2008.
A quote from Saudi Arabian Airlines acting executive vice-president, Hashim Mahmood said Saudi Arabian Airlines is Gulf Airs very important and key strategic partner, this code-share agreement will further improve and enhance our services to our customers. The expansion is part of our new network strategy and I am very pleased we can begin to see results so quickly.
