Air Canada’s plans for daily flights between Charlottetown and Ottawa

Air Canada has announced today that they are planning a new flight service between Charlottetown, Prince Edwards Island and Ottawa. Air Canada is hoping to start this new flight service will be starting next May 2008.
The new flight service between Charlottetown, Prince Edwards Island and Ottawa will first fly on May 1st on a 50 seater jet. Air Canada is hoping this new flight service will increase business and tourism to the two cities.
The decision was made within a short period of time but not without a lot of negotiations.
This new flight service comes as an additional to Air Canada’s new schedule after earlier this year they announced a previous new flight service between Toronto and Charlottetown.
