Air Canada are the first to launch non-stop flights between Canada & Australia

Air Canada had a big party last night to celebrate their new non-stop flights to Sydney from Vancouver. The celebrations took place at Simmer on the Bay in Sydney. It was a Cirque du Soleil themed event with acrobats and fire shows.
The new flight service between Sydney and Vancouver is due to take its first flight on the 16th December, the aircraft planned to be used until the 1st February, is a B777-300ERs. This aircraft will be used until Air Canada introduces their new B777-200LRs.
To kill two birds with one stone on the day of the first flight for the new flight service, Air Canada will showcase their new prototype of their Executive First Suites. Giving people the opportunity to see first the Private lie-flat beds and guest seating.
