Virgin Strikes as planned as Branson suggest they leave

The strikes by Virgin Atlantic cabin crew have been in the planning stage through November and December, now they are due to take place in January. The cabin crew are striking for more pay as they believe other airlines are paying more for the same jobs.
Richard Branson has now issued a letter to all the 4,800 cabin crew involved in the strike suggesting they find work elsewhere if they want more money.
The letter which Branson himself wrote stated: “For some of you more pay than Virgin Atlantic can afford may be critical to your lifestyle, and if that is the case you should consider working elsewhere”.
Richard Branson is known not to be involved in the everyday running of Virgin Atlantic Airways but this letter shows how strongly he feels about staff demanding a payrise when it could jeopardise the future of his airline.
