US Airways staff didn’t meet there targets

US Airways employees were offered $100 each if they could reach two goals which were set for them over the holiday period.The airlines offer was called “Holiday Hustle” and was set for the dates between 1st November and 31st December 2007. Their targets were to have at least 60 percent of flights travelling between these dates to depart on schedule or earlier. The second target that was set was not to mishandle more than seven bags per 1,000.
Neither of these targets was met by staff so US Airways have refused to pay out any bonus’s.
US Airways spokesman, Phil Gee said the airline missed both goals. Through Dec. 26, 58.5 percent of flights departed at the scheduled time, and US Airways had mishandled 7.43 bags per 1,000 bags.
