Flights between the Commonwealth colonies

Australia and Canada have joined forces to try and further increase travel demand between the two countries with Air Canada planning to introduce a new daily flight.
The countries, (both of which are in British Commonwealth) are hoping the newly introduced daily flights will create demand and make travel between the two distant nations.
Qantas who already run a daily flight between Vancouver and Sydney via Los Angeles will not be affected as Air Canada will not be in direct competition with them. Air Canada is planning on a new route between Vancouver and Sydney going through San Francisco rather Los Angeles.
