Etihad sponsors Formula One

Etihad Airways are going to be the title sponsor for next year’s inaugural Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. To celebrate this they have re-painted one of the planes in the livery of a racing car.
Etihad Airways have used one of there A320 aircrafts for the new design which has had the plane painted all black with the image of a red Formula One car together with the official race title logo on the rear and the Formula One logo on the engines.
The aircraft has been redesigned to give Etihad Airways enough time to ensure the aircraft gets flewn to key destinations across the Middle East and Levant so millions of motor racing fans can see the design and know that Etihad Airways is sharing the excitement of the build up before the UAE’s first ever Formula One Grand Prix in 2009.
