Airbus A380 makes inaugural maiden flight from Singapore to Sydney

On October 25th 2007, flight history was created when at 8:00 AM (00:00 GMT) flight SQ380 departed on time from Changi Airport. The seven hour flight to Sydney passed without incident and introduced the world to the largest passenger airline that ever graced the skies. Upon arrival the fanfare sounded amongst the cheers and well wishers to a packed airport of travellers and special guests.
On arrival at the gate the crew handed out certificates and champagne to those who were lucky enough to have been a passenger on the luxury airliner.
Passengers when interviewed after the flight were quoted as saying that all flights that they now take will now pale in comparison to this. Singapore Airlines has also managed another coup, it has also signed a deal which gives it exclusive use of the model for ten months and is sure to give it a boost amongst its most wealthy and extravagant customers.
