Plans for Australia are delayed for Qatar Airways

Short supply of long distant planes Qatar Airways' means that plans to fly to Australia will have to wait, at least until next year.
Qatar have stated that they will still definitely be flying to Houston from later this year and will be concentrating on its flights in North American. Qatar Airways are saying that they are not in a hurry to start operating their flights to Melbourne, Australia and although there has not been an official announcement the route will be started up, the Australian authorities have been given the nod to operate daily flights to Melbourne.
Last year Qatar Airways expanded fast opening new routes in the Indian Sub-continent but this year the airline plans to go slow on expansions.
