Bangkok’s Flag carrier Thai Airways International is to increase flights from Bangkok to Hyderabad to five per week as tourist and business traffic grows, a senior airline official said on Monday.
Thai Airways will add two flights a week on the route starting from tomorrow, said Pandit Chanapian executive vice president with the carrier.
"The flights have been very successful on this route. However there were not enough routes to serve passenger needs." Padit also added "Furthermore, there is growth in the amount of business and tourist travel from India."
The national carrier began lying to Hyderabad, a popular tourist destination in central India in October 2006.
