Air France-KLM try to win over Alitalia unions.

Air France-KLM has now been given the green light to offer a bid for the failing airline Alitalia. The next step for Air France-KLM is to win over the Italian carriers unions.
It is known that Alitalia unions is prone to striking when they don’t get what they want, so many aviation specialists are advising Air France- KLM to make sure the unions approve of there take over bid by ensuring the take over will be a smooth transaction.
Air France-KLM’s chairman and CEO Jean-Cyril Spinetta are now in Rome meeting with union officials to try and get them on side. “We have a very short time, eight weeks only, to ensure that the Air France–KLM plan for Alitalia is well understood by all involved and to make sure it attracts the support of everyone working for Alitalia,” said Mr Spinetta.
