Atlanta Flights, Georgia Highlights
Situated in the Deep South of Georgia, Atlanta is a clean and modern location, and is the home of around four hundred thousand people. Increasingly popular as a destination for the whole family, Atlanta has tonnes to entertain tourists, and something that every visitor to Atlanta should make a trip to is the famous Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic site – an exciting part of any trip to Georgia!
As well as celebrating the main US holidays such as Independence Day (July 4th) and Thanksgiving, one of the biggest holidays in the city is on January 15th, when Atlanta's favourite son, Martin Luther King Jr's life is celebrated.
The city harks back to the past with the Antebellum Jubilee in the last week of March every year, while further Confederate era fun is had with the festival of Dixie Music in mid May.
